As the healthcare industry focuses on early detection and minimally invasive procedures, more and more technologically advanced tools are used by doctors every day in treating their patients. This means that the healthcare manufacturer, like many other industries has a growing number of products to create and maintain in their systems supporting their sales and data governance processes. Around ten thousand different finished products across the diagnostic and therapeutic technology lines will be in scope for phase 1 of the Refresh Desktop project, with UNSPSC as one of the main outcomes. The data delivered from Refresh will be fed back into the global ERP system, SAP.
